Cosmate^®HT,Hydroxytyrosol,3-Hydroxytyrosol;3,4-dihydroxyphenylethanol ,DOPET, Dihydroxyphenylethanol is a natural compound found in high concentrations in the leaves and fruit of the olive tree.Hydroxytyrosol is a compound belonging to the class of Polyphenols,Hydroxytyrosol is characterized by a powerful antioxidant action and numerous other beneficial properties. Hydroxytyrosol is an organic compound. It is a phenylethanoid, a type of phenolic phytochemical with antioxidant properties in vitro. In nature, hydroxytyrosol is found in olive leaf and olive oil, in the form of its elenolic acid ester oleuropein and, especially after degradation, in its plain form.
